ESP Bass Guitars
 Since Electric Sound Product’s humble beginnings in 1975 Tokyo, ESP has focused on quality. Originally a high quality replacement parts company, ESP began making guitars in ’76. ESP replacement parts were introduced into the US guitar market in ’83, and custom ESP guitars were being made for local New York musicians in ’84 and ’85. ESP was discovered by guitarists George Lynch in ’86 and Kirk Hammett in ’87 leading to the first signature models for the company. In ’96 ESP created the LTD line to cater its superb quality to a more affordable line, while still offering their top end bass guitars like the Vintage series, and the Surveyor series under the ESP name. The prominent signature bass model is the Tom Araya model. In 2002, ESP was named as the music industry’s fastest growing company, and today has more models to choose from than you can shake a stick at.
