The RP-7 Valve is DigiTech's tube-driven guitar pre-amp and multi-effect's processor. A complete self-contained "stomp" box, the Valve has four different tube voicings from a 12AX7 tube along with four solid-state distortion styles. The digital effects come from DigiTech's proven S-DISCII™ processor chip and so you get Intelligent Pitch Shifting capabilities that allow you to create two-voice harmonies from a single note in any key or scale. Other very worthwhile features include: Digi's Whammy™; Jam-Along-Jack™, a way to plug in and mix in music from an external CD or cassette deck; and a real-time expression pedal that offers control over volume and certain effect parameters.
