Nice 2006 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop edition. Excellent condition. The neck however was broken and the owner had it sent back to Gibson for professional repair and refinish. And quite honestly, if I didn't mention it, you would never know anything had ever been done. It also has a custom mod added to it with push pull volume and tone pots. Comes with hardshell case.
Torres Engineering:
The Cool Gibson Jimmy page wiring for Les Paul type guitars. Any guitar with 4 controls and two humbucking pickups. The same setup as the expensive Gibson Jimmy Page Guitar. Everyone has been looking for this great setup for a long time. This is the whole thing - 4 push pull pots on the four controls for the Les Paul, This amazing setup has all the sounds in the world! Each volume becomes a push pull coil cut, coil/tap control for its pickup. These work all the time and switches the humbuckers into single coil mode for a clean, crisp tone. Having one for each pickup allows the widest range of tones possible. Another push pull pot is a phase switch, switching one pickup out of phase with the other. A funky, “trick” tone with a lot of uses for rhythm playing, funky leads, and a real cutting tone. The last push pull pot places the two pickups in series. This is not found on ANY guitar (other then the Torres BluesTone) - this is a huge, big fat tone - both humbuckers become one giant humbucker for a monster tone. AND the phase switch still works, so you can get series out of phase or in phase. Plus you can get series in phase, out of phase with single coils or humbuckers, mixed or whatever - you can see that there are hundreds of cool tones readily available from this amazing wiring setup. You still have two volume controls and two tone controls. Both volumes are rewired as independent controls - they do not suffer from the “gibson disease” (when you turn one down the whole guitar used to go off - this is fixed). Overall, the greatest wiring setup there is.
