The Marshall AVT150H is a 150 watt 4 channel amplifier. It’s the Head version of the AVT150. It uses an ECC83 dual triode tube for all preamp and sound distortion and tone control. This is the heart of this amp design. It produces anything from a very clean and chimmy ring sound as well as bell-like harmonics. It doesn't have a harsh sound mainly because of the dual triode circuit. You can overdrive it and get the dynamics and feel of the road tested Marshalls.
This amp has (4) channels which include the Acoustic Simulator channel and a Clean channel. There are also two overdrive channels for distortion sounds. The Acoustic simulator makes even your electric have an acoustic dreadnought sound to it. You can switch between them using the footswitch. There is even a headphone jack and speaker emulation output, effects loop and level control for the FX.
The EQ section includes the mid-range scoop that can dramatically change the sound of your amp by removing varying degrees of mid-range frequencies. This ends up giving you more heavy bass sound at lower volumes. It sounds great for mega-death rumble.
