The Oscar Schmidt OE30 is a 6-string Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar made for beginners to intermediate guitars. It's a low cost alternative to the Gibson ES-335 in both style and sound. If you've wanted to try a semi-hollowbody then this is the way. It sounds great for jazz, blues, fusion, and rock. The guitar features a semi-hollowbody made of maple (back, sides, top) with two large 'F'-holes. The Tune-O-Matic o-matic Bridge and stop tail-piece also lends to the es335 look as does the white binding around the body.
The 22 fret mahogany neck has dot inlays and a rosewood fingerboard. To top it off Grover Tuners (Machine Heads or Tuning Pegs) are an excellent addition to one of the lowest cost semi-hollowbody guitars currently made. The neck is bolted onto the body. The 3-way pickup selector and two Washburn humbucker pickups are configured in a similar 335 fashion: Bridge, Bridge+Neck, Neck. Each pickup has its own tone and volume controls.
