Michael Zorger - Voice Lessons

Michael Zorger is a resident of Harrisburg, PA where he is an avid performer on the stage. He recently returned from living in New York City where he was involved with two workshops entitled: THE WICKED ONES and ZULY AND THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH. Locally he has enjoyed personal success with many theatres, allowing him to play some of his favorite roles: Pippin in PIPPIN, Jack in INTO THE WOODS, John Hinckley, Jr. in ASSASSINS, Jamie in THE LAST FIVE YEARS, Jeff Bowen in [TITLE OF SHOW] Joseph in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, Curley in OKLAHOMA!, Billy Bigelow in CAROUSEL, Rooster in ANNIE, Bobby Child in CRAZY FOR YOU, Joe Hardy in DAMN YANKEES, Jesus and Judas/John the Baptist in GODSPELL, Billy Crocker in ANYTHING GOES, Geoffery in SOMETHINGʼS AFOOT, and Harry Witherspoon in LUCKY STIFF. Other shows include THE SHADOWBOX, SOME LIKE IT HOT, NO, NO, NANETTE, BYE BYE BIRDIE, MY SON IS CRAZY BUT PROMISING, ADVENTURES OF GO-GO GIRL - EPISODE 9: SPACE VIXENS WITH SASSY ATTITUDES, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, MY ONE AND ONLY, JERRYʼS GIRLS, CURTAINS, THE MUSIC MAN and various cabarets.

When he is not performing, Michael also works for area schools directing creating sets, stage makeup, and working with the CHYSS music theatre camp in the summer. Michael studied Musical Theatre at Ithaca College and New York University and is also a graduate of the once local Harrisburg Arts Magnet School for Musical Theatre.

The goal of a student taking musical theatre voice lessons is to create a performer who can audition with confidence and perform with dignity and ease in public. Each student will receive individual training and polishing with helpful techniques and weekly assignments. We will work together to see each pupilʼs potential is reached with popular music to add to your repertoire.
